Misinformed Representation of DPM Training

The College was made aware of a video of a Washington state orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeon presenting false information on the education, training and certification of podiatric physicians and foot and ankle surgeons. The ACFAS Board of Directors, in coordination with the American Podiatric Medical Association, American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and potentially other groups, is crafting a response to address the misinformed and misguided presentation.

We remain steadfast in our advocacy for ACFAS members and the profession.
